Jouant volontairement avec son homonyme « repaire », Repère est une installation composée d’une projection vidéo en temps réel (Sommet) et d’un cairn de pierres calcaires, filmé par une caméra sur trépied (Cairn). Ces deux éléments — une image d’un sommet rocheux, et un objet sculptural intégré à un dispositif de captation visible — sont présentés dans deux espaces distincts, rendant impossible leur expérience simultanée.
Cette installation explore la notion de repère à travers le déplacement de marqueurs du paysage naturel vers l’espace d’exposition, et le trouble de perception produit par un jeu d’échelle entre un objet et son image.

Deliberately playing with its French homonym " repaire ", Repère is an installation consisting of a real-time video projection (Summit) and a cairn of limestone rocks, filmed by a camera on a tripod (Cairn). These two elements — an image of a rocky summit and a sculptural object integrated into a visible recording device — are presented in two separate spaces, making them impossible to experience simultaneously.
This installation explores the notion of landmark through the displacement of markers from the natural landscape to the exhibition space, and the perceptual confusion produced by a play on scale between an object and its image.
